Dr Janne Estill
I am a 44 year old mathematician and epidemiologist. I have a strong theoretical background in Mathematics as well as more than 15 years of experience in epidemiology: developing mathematical models, conducting health economics evaluations, and writing academic publications. During my academic career I have so far authored over 160 peer-reviewed publications and led consultancy projects for organizations including the World Bank, World Health Organization, UNITAID, Clinton Health Access Initiative, United Nations Development Programme, and the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health.
While I enjoy working in the academia, I also have the desire to work more independently: directly and transparently with the people and organizations that have the need for our services. To facilitate this, I decided to establish my own company in 2020. Besides the private consulting work, I continue to work in the academia part-time.
I come originally from Finland, but have lived in Switzerland for over 15 years. During my studies I have also spent some time in Russia and Ukraine, and am closely collaborating with academic institutions in China. I hold a PhD in Science/Epidemiology (University of Bern, Switzerland, 2013). Besides English and my native language Finnish, I also speak Russian and German.

Yangqin XUN, MMed, PhD

- Her research fields are public health, evidence-based medicine, and guideline methodology, reporting guidelines of health research.
- Yangqin Xun has published 13 papers in journals such as Annals of Internal Medicine as the first or co-first author (including 7 SCI papers as the first author), as co-authors in more than 40 papers. Participated in 3 projects at various levels such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China; as well as took part in the development of 9 clinical practice guidelines at home and abroad; she was also a part of writing and translation of a total of 3 monographs.
